Baby Potato Chalna

                                                          Potato Chalna

Today we will make a different and easy dish for Dinner. The menu special is Vegetable Parotta and Chalna with Baby Potatoes in it. Chalna is nothing but a kind of kurma that goes well with Plain Parotta[Malaysian Parotta], Dosa, Roti etc.Even in this usually at the road side shops and restaurants in India  usually I had only the Chicken version. Now as it was for my kids and my dear husband I made it into the vegetarian version of it using potatoes instead of chicken.
I tried lot of times with different combinations of whatever i found from the internet in the name chalna. At last i got  the taste of this dish that reminded me of the olden days.Let's go to the recipe
