Wheat Dosa
( Version 1)
Ingredients
Wheat flour - 2cups
yogurt -1/2 cup
water as needed
salt to taste
Cumin seeds - 1 tsp
Dosa when you hear the name of it my mouth waters as i love Dosas. It is not hard to make it. All time Kids favorite. Nice crispy or soft ones, either fermented overnight or not it really tastes good. mmm...
The recipe i am going to share today doesn't needs to be fermented and also good for diabetes.
Now moving to the way to make it take a bowl and mix all the above ingredients .The dough should be in a dosa consistency[lighter than the pancake consistency]
You can mix it and immediately make dosa or mix it,leave it for an hour and make dosa.
Heat a tava. When it is hot
pour a laddle of the dough and spread it thin and let it cook on medium heat
Add little oil to the edges
For variation you can sprinkle finely chopped onions if you like
When it is light brown turn it to the other side and cook it
Then serve hot with sambhar and chutney
In the picture i served it with Black eyed beans Kuzhambu.
