Ingredients
Sabudhana - 1 cup
Poha - 2 cups
Peanuts - 1/2 cup[use the roasted ]
Sev - 1 cup
Split Bengal gram dhal - 1/4 cup
Sprinkles -3 tbsps.[cake sprinkles]
salt -1/2 tsp[as per your taste]
sugar - 1/2 tsp[optional]
Red chilli powder -1/4 tsp
Turmeric powder -1/2 tsp
Garlic crushed -2 peeled
Red chilli - 1
curry leaves
Oil
First we need to heat 1 cup of oil to fry the sabudhana and poha. Take a Kadai and heat the oil. When the oil is hot put the poha in it and it come up just like the papad/appalam...Remove with the help of slotted spoon and then drain the excess oil in a plate with paper towel. The reason to do this is to remove the excess oil. Repeat the process with the remaining poha and then with sabudhana. . Keep it aside. Now to the next step .Now remove the oil from the kadai and wash it and bring it back to the stove. Heat it and add 2tsp of oil. Keep the stove in medium. Add the crushed garlic and redchilli. Then add the redchilli powder, turmeric powder, sugar and salt. Fry for 2 seconds and then add the peanuts and split Bengal gram dhal[pottukadalai]. Mix it and then add the poha and sabudhana to it and mix it in the heat nicely. Now add the curry leaves to it . Mix it in the medium flame for few minutes. It is almost ready now. Remove from the stove and add the sev to it and let it cool before you add the sprinkles. After few minutes add the sprinkles and Sabu Poha Snack Mix is ready. Store it a airtight container. Serve it as a evening snack with tea/chocolate milk ....
