                                          Methi Subzi

                 Methi leaves or seeds has lot of medicinal properties which helps to lower your cholesterol, control your diabetes  , also helps in increasing production of  milk in lactating mothers and on........ . It has fiber , vitamin c ,niacin, potassium  , iron and alkaloids.....Does this convince you to include this vegetable in regular diet....I heard an yes....Good ...Nowadays I am doing it regularly and I hope you will do it too... Shall we go to the recipe and it is very easy to make...and delicious too

Methi                             - 1& 1/2  cup[washed and finely chopped]
Palak                              - 1/4 cup[ I used the frozen]
Onion                             - 1/4 cup chopped finely
Tomatoes                       - 1 chopped
Ginger paste                   - 1 tsp
Garlic paste                    - 1 tsp
Red chilli powder          - 1/2 tsp[ use according to your spicy preference]
coriander powder          - 1/4 tsp
turmeric powder           -1/4 tsp
salt
cumin                           - 1 tsp
oil                                - 2 tsp
Cooked thuvar             - 2 tbsp.[optional]

            Heat a sauce pan and add oil to it.
Then add cumin as seasoning and then add onion and salt & sauté for few minutes
Now add ginger garlic paste and sauté for a minute and then add turmeric to it.
After few minutes add the tomatoes and cook for few minutes.
Add the red chilli powder and coriander powder to it
Then add the  methi leaves and cook for 3- 4 minutes and then add the palak to it .
After the methi is cooked add the cooked thuvar to it and mix very nicely.
Now the delicious methi subzi is ready and serve wit rice or Roti.

Tip
We can omit the use of Palak and make the subzi too.
Also you can do it without the cooked thuvar.
I used thuvar and palak little bit as it takes off the bitterness of the methi leaves.
