Kale Poriyal

                     
                     Kale is full of nutrients. Kale , a type of spinach, is an excellent source of Vitamin C and Vitamin K. Kale contains antioxidants,fiber,calcium , iron and wide range of other nutrients. Kale I used here is from our garden and organic.Then obviously it is tastier tooπŸ˜‹πŸ˜€.
          Today we are going to make Kale Poriyal .We need only very few ingredients for this Kale Poriyal. It is served with Rice/Roti.

Ingredients
Kale  - 1 bunch( wash and chopped finely approx 1 bowl)
Onion - 1/4 cup chopped
chilli - 1 (red)
Thuvar dhal - 1/2 cooked perfectly and not mashed.
seasoning
oil- 2 tsp
Urad-1/2 tsp
Cumin- 1/2 tsp



Heat a Pan . Add oil to it. Keep the flame in medium.
Add the seasoning of urad dhal , cumin ,Red chilli when the oil heats up.
When it splutters and you see the urad slightly turning brown add the onion .
Saute for few minutes adding the salt.
Then add the Kale to it and saute till the Kale is cooked. It takes around 4-5 minutes.
Then add the cooked dhal to it and mix it properly for few minutes.
When it is mixed and Kale is cooked turn off the stove . Kale Poriyal is ready to serve
Serve it with Roti/Rice
