Peaches...Peaches are always tastier as it is. I love it when i make Pachadi or Masala. It is easy to make. Every year we used to go Peach picking. Its always fun.It is just like Mango Pachadi and it goes well with rice/Roti/Idli/Dosa.Now proceeding to the recipe, we need only few ingredients.It doesn't matter if it is ripe.It would be more tastier if it is between sour and sweet .
Ingredients
Peach - 3 cut into cubes (when cut it has to be 1 cereal bowl)

Onion - 1/2 cup chopped
Tomato - 1/2 cup chopped
Chilli Powder -1/2 tsp or Sambhar powder - 1/2 tsp
Oil - 2 tsp

curry leaves few
Thuvar - 1/4 cup (cooked perfect )Make sure it is not mashed
Turmeric - 1/4 tsp
coriander for garnishing
Salt as per taste
Seasoning
oil - 1 tsp
mustard - 1/2 tsp
urad - 1/4 tsp
asafoetida - a pinch
Take a Pan and heat it . Keep the heat on the medium. Add oil to it.
When it is hot add the seasoning of Mustard, urad , asafoetida.
When it splutters add the onion , curry leaves and sauté for few minutes. While sautéing the onions i usually add the salt and turmeric. As for as i know i feel cooking process gets faster.
After few minutes add the tomatoes and keep sauteing till the tomatoes get cooked .
Add the chili powder/sambhar powder to it.
Then add the chopped Peaches to it and saute it for few minutes before adding 1/4 cup of water and close the pan to cook for few minutes.
Peaches doesn't take long . It will cook fast.
Then add the thuvar dhal to it and mix it well.
After 2-3 minutes add the coriander and switch off the stove .
Now delicious Peach Pachadi is ready to serve.
