Peach Masala



Peaches — or Prunus persica — are small fruit with a fuzzy peel and a sweet white or yellow flesh. Peaches contain fiber, which contributes to smooth digestion and a lower risk of gut disorders.
Today we are making Peach Masala with Peaches and few other ingredients.It is very easy to make and delicious one too.

Ingredients
Peach - 3-4 chopped
Onion - 1/4 cup chopped
Tomato - 1 chopped
Ginger paste -1/4 tsp
Garlic -2 chopped
curry leaves
turmeric - 1/2 tsp
Curry powder - 1 tsp ( we can substitute with chilli powder/ sambhar powder)
oil-2 tsp
mustard - 1/2 tsp
urad dhal - 1/2 tsp
Curry leaves few
Coriander leaves chopped finely to garnish (optional)

Heat a pan . Add oil to it. When it is hot add the mustard, urad and curry leaves. When it splutters add the chopped onion, ginger, garlic.
Now add the tomatoes and saute for few minutes .Then add turmeric, salt to it and saute for a minute or so. Add the curry powder to it while sauteing the tomatoes.
Add the chopped peaches to it and  sautey it . Add little  water and close it with the lid to cook for few minutes till the peaches gets cooked nicely . It doesn't take long to cook. When the water is reduced and you can see the masala nice done. When the masala is done switch off the stove.
Serve the yummy Peach Masala with Roti/Rice/Dosa.
