Paneer Masala

 

Today we will make Paneer Masala. I made the Paneer at home. It is Scrambled. It is just easy to make.


Ingredients

Paneer - 250 gms scrambled ( came to a bowl)

Onion - 1/2 cup chopped

Tomato - 1 chopped

Ginger paste - 1/2 tsp

Garlic - 3-4 chopped

oil - 2tsp

mustard - 1/4 tsp

urad -1/2 tsp

curry powder- 1tsp (you can substitute with chilli powder too)

turmeric - 1/2 tsp

Curry leaves - optional

Coriander to garnish

Heat a Pan. Keep in a medium flame.

Add oil to it. When it is hot add the mustard. Let it splatter. Add the urad to it now.

Let it turn slightly to golden brown color. Now add the onion to it. Saute it. 

Then add the garlic, ginger paste,curry leaves and saute. 

Add turmeric and salt to it. 

Then add the tomatoes. Add the curry powder too.

Saute for few minutes allowing the tomatoes to cook.

Then add the paneer to it and mix thoroughly.

It doesn't take too long to cook. Only few minutes and if needed add more salt. 

Saute for few minutes. Garnish it with coriander and switch off the stove

Paneer Masala is ready. Transfer it into a serving bowl and serve hot with rice/roti
