Pottukkadalai Chutney/ Roasted Gram Chutney

 Pottukkadalai 





Pottukkadalai ( Roasted Gram) - 1/2 cup

Red chilli - 3-4

Garlic - 3-4

tamarind-very little (like a pinch)

salt

seasoning

mustard - 1/2 tsp

urad- 1/2 tsp

curry leaves - few

asafoetida - a pinch

oil - 1tsp

Take the Pottukadalai , red chilli , garlic , tamarind , salt and grind it in a mixie by adding 1/4 cup of water.

Then transfer it in a serving bowl. 

Now for seasoning

Heat oil in a small steel laddle or small kadai

When hot add the mustard , urad, curry leaves , asafoetida.

Mustard will start to pop , urad will turn slight golden brown , then remove from heat add it to the chutney.

MMMM Delicious Pottukadalai Chutney is ready.
