Roasted Red Bell Pepper Hummus

Roasted Red Pepper Hummus is a dip made of Cooked Chick Peas or canned Chick Peas, Red Bell Pepper just like Garlic Hummus .In the recipe of Garlic Hummus just dice the red pepper and roast it, add while preparing the hummus. Use it as a dip or a filling for Sandwich it is so tasty, healthy and rich in proteins. 

Chickpeas/Garbanzo Beans - 1 cup ( 12 Oz)

Red Bell Pepper - 1

Garlic- 2  chopped

Cumin powder - 1/2 tsp

Sea salt - 1/2 tsp

olive oil- 2 tbsps.

Tahini - 5 tbsps. {1/3 cup}

Black Pepper to taste

Water - 4 tbsp (if needed we can add more)

Lemon juice from 1 lemon

First chop the red bell pepper and roast it in a pan with little olive oil.

For preparing Hummus I used my Cuisinart Food Processor 

First  put the tahini , cumin powder , garlic , pepper salt and lemon juice  in the food processor.

On it and puree it to smooth consistency.

Then add the roasted Red Bell Pepper. Grind it

Then add the chick peas. . Puree /grind it till it is smooth by adding little water at a time.

Taste it and if needed  add the required  salt, pepper, olive oil whichever is needed.

Delicious  Roasted Red Bell Pepper Hummus is ready and serve it in Sandwich / crackers.

Store it in Refrigerator for a week.
