Coconut Chutney is a simple chutney and very easy to make. Delicious. It goes well with Idli, Dosa, Vada, Bajji etc. It is made grated coconut.
Grind
Coconut-- 1 cup
Roasted Gram - 1/2 cup
chilli - 2
ginger- 1/2 inch piece
salt - 1/2 tsp
seasoning
oil-2 tsp
mustard-1/2tsp
urad- 1/2tsp
curry leaves - few
Take a Mixie jar . Add the coconut, chilli, roasted gram, ginger ,salt and grind it by adding 1/4 cup of water or little less water to a smooth consistency. Remove it in a serving dish. Now let's do the seasoning
Then take a pan. Add the oil and when it is hot add mustard, urad, curry leaves. when urad turns golden brown and mustard pops, take it off the heat and pour it in the chutney.
Serve with Hot Idli/ Dosa
