Olive Bread

  Today's recipe is very simple Bread. This one I used Olives and Italian Seasoning. We can use any seasoning . Do alter it with rosemary too .Perfect one .

Bread Flour  - 2 cups ( we can use wheat flour too)

Olive oil - 2tsp

Olives - 12 black olives ( slice / chop it)

Italian Seasoning - 1 tsp

Garlic - 4 cloves chopped

Salt  - 3/4 tsp

Sugar - 1 tsp

Yeast - 2 tsp ( or 1 pack of dry instant yeast)

For topping

Olive oil - 2 tsp

Slice olives - few

 First take 3/4 cup of warm water .

Add sugar and mix it. Then add the yeast and mix. Leave it for 10-15 minutes .

It will rise.

In a Mixer( cake Mixer ) add the dry ingredients . { flour , salt , italian seasoning , garlic , olives} Mix well. Add the olive oil and mix.

Then add the yeast mix and make it into a dough . If needed add  extra water if needed.

Then stop the mixer and apply little oil on the dough and cover and leave it to rise for an hour

After an hour it would have doubled . Take it out and knead lightly . Shape it into a oval or round about 1/2 inch thick and leave it on the Baking sheet . Apply the topping of oil and the olives and cover it. Leave it for another 30 - 45 minutes.

After 45 minutes preheat the oven to 400 degree F

Bake the bread for 25-30 minutes until golden. When you tap the bread underneath it should sound hollow and that means it is done
