Roasted Broccoli with Garlic and a slice of Butter

  Roasted Broccoli with Garlic and a slice of Butter is a simple and Kids' favorite recipe. Very healthy and simple to make

Broccoli - 1 cup

Garlic- 1/2 tbsp

Butter - 1/2 tbsp

salt - 1 tsp

Pepper - 1/2 tsp 

onion powder- 1/2 tsp

Chop the broccoli florets into bite-size

Heat a pan and boil 2-3 cups of water

Add the Broccoli. Cook for 2-3 minutes.

It shouldn't cook fully. It has to be half cooked. Just when it starts to boil, keep it for 2-3 minutes and switch off the stove.

Drain the water and keep it aside.

Now heat a pan and keep the flame on medium. Add the slice of butter.

Then when it starts to melt add the chopped garlic in it and stir it to prevent it from burning.

Then add the broccoli and mix it. Keep it stirring gently and constantly.

Add the pepper, salt, and onion powder and mix/ stir constantly and gently. If needed you can add more onion powder and garlic powder too depending on your taste

Broccoli will cook fast. After 2 minutes, broccoli will be roasted and the nice aroma of garlic and butter will fill in. 

Switch off the stove and be ready to serve.
