Kabuli Channa Sundal

 This is like a salad but in our way. Simply saying like a Beach Sundal type. Very yummy and can be served as a snack or dinner. Even take it to the party. Quick and easy at the same time Delicious. 

We need little preparation beforehand and then it is so easy

Ingredients

Kabuli Channa  - 1cup

oil- 2 tsp

mustard - 1/4 tsp

Urad - 1/2tsp

Asafoetida- 1 pinch (optional)

Curry Powder - 1tsp( 1/2 tsp if you want less spicy)


Cucumber- 1/2 cup chopped

Tomato - 1 -2 chopped

Onion - 1/2 chopped

Mango- 1/2 cup chopped

salt

Chat masala as needed

Lemon as per your taste

 The selection of Veggies to add is as you like

First, soak the Channa overnight and the next day cook it in Instant pot Beans mode -High- 25-30 minutes

Then drain the water. Heat a pan on the stove. Add oil and add the seasoning, mustard, urad, and Asafoetida when it is hot.

Then add the cooked Kabuli Channa to it and mix.

Add salt, curry powder to it and mix for 1-2 minutes

Take it off the stove and keep it aside.

Have all the cucumber, onion, tomato, mango, chat masala, and lemon ready

Now to the Sundal Part. Whenever you need to serve, take a mixing bowl

Add the Kabuli Channa, then add the onion, cucumber, and tomato and mix

Add lemon juice and mix

Add the Mango next and mix

In the end add the chat masala and mix
