Today we planned to make a salad that is filled with proteins and also Kid's Favorite.
For this salad, we used Morning Star Chik Patties. Being a vegetarian it becomes challenging to find that is Kid's favorite and also filled with proteins. I have used these Chik Patties in sandwiches but today I thought I will try making a salad and it will be a fulfilling delicious dinner
On top of this I AIR FRIED the Chik Patties πππ
Let's go to the recipe
Iceberg Lettuce - 1/2 chopped
Tomatoes - 2-3 chopped ( cut in quarters and sliced)
Onions- 1 chopped (( cut in quarters and sliced)
Feta cheese
Mozzarella cheese - chopped
Olives- sliced
Chik Patties - 5
Italian Dressing as per taste
Now take the Air Fryer and set it at 375°F
Slightly apply oil inside the tray(applying oil is optional) Place the 5 Chik Patties and close the lid
Air fry for 12 minutes.
After 12 minutes, carefully open it. Make sure to wear the oven mitt while taking the tray out of the Air Fryer
Remove the Chik Patties and keep them aside
Now ready to make the salad.
First, take one Chik Patty and cut it into cubes or thick slices. ( your choice π)
Take the Salad Bowl
Add the lettuce, then cucumber, onion, tomatoes, olives, feta cheese, and mozzarella cheese.
Add the chopped Chik Patty
Add the 3 tbsp of Italian Dressing and Mix
Transfer it to a serving bowl.
