Mango Masala



                 Mangoes...rich in nutrients, healthy,tasty.Mangoes are rich in Vitamin C,fiber and pectin. This fruit helps in controlling high cholesterol level.Eating the mangoes is beneficial to the skin as it treats pores and makes your skin glow.
                  With Mangoes we can eat it just like that or make a variety of dishes like pickle, Mango Pachadi , or Mango Masala, Mango Salad etc.
                   Now we will go to the recipe which is easy to make and quick. For this i took a Mango which is in between raw and ripe .It is little sour, little sweet.


Ingredients
Mango        - 1
Onion         - 1/4 chopped
Tomato       - 1 medium chopped
salt             - 1 tsp( as per your taste)
Turmeric    - 1/4 tsp
Chilli Powder - 1/2 tsp
Coriander
Curry Leaves
Seasoning
Oil                - 1 tsp
Mustard       - 1/2 tsp
Urad Dhal    - 1/2 tsp


             Heat a Pan and add oil to it.When it is hot add the seasoning of mustard, urad dhal and curry leaves. When it starts to splutter add the onion. On a medium heat saute for few minutes by adding turmeric and salt. Then add the tomatoes and saute it till it gets cooked for 2-3 minutes. Now add Mangoes to it with the chilli powder and saute for a minute or so . When it is mixed up nicely add little water around little less than a 1/4 cup and close the lid allowing it to cook . After 3-5 minutes it will be cooked as it doesn't take much time to cook. Cooking time depends on how ripe the mango is. Now switch the flames of and garnish with coriander. Serve with Roti/ Rice/Dosa/Idli
