Kuzhi Paniayaram
Ingredients
Raw rice -2 cups
Boiled Rice -2cups {Idli rice/Ponni Boiled rice}
Urad dhal -1 cup
Fenugreek seeds - 1tsp
salt
Seasoning
Mustard -1tsp
green chilli - 1 finely chopped
onion - 1/2 cup finely chopped
coriander leaves
Soak rice and dhal with fenugreek seperately for 3-4 hours or overnight and grind it using a Grinder/Mixie/food processor
Add salt and allow it to ferment overnight
Next day heat a pan ,add oil,then mustard,onion,chilli . saute them
Add it to the fermented dough and mix it .
Heat the Kuzhi paniayaram pan and add little oil in all the holes
Pour the dough in each hole and allow to cook and turn it with the fork and cook it on the other side
When it is golden brown , remove it
Serve hot with Sambhar and onion chutney.
