Urad Dhal        -1 cup
Raw rice/
Boiled rice       -2cup
Ragi flour        - 1 cup
Salt                -1 & 1/2 tsp


Soak the Urad and rice overnight or atleast for 4 hours
Then grind it in a mixer or Grinder to a smooth consistency
Now add the Ragi flour ,salt and mix ir very well and allow it to ferment overnight
It would have doubled in proportion ... Now it is ready to make soft idlis and a healthy one
Heat a Idli pan and the dough into the Idli plate and steam for 10-15 minutes.
After 15 minutes polk one idli with a knife/stick and when it comes clean, that means it is done .
Take it and serve it with sambar ,chutney
