Methi Paratha



                       When I think of making my kids to eat methi I have to find  an interesting and tasty way to make it so delicious that they shouldn't taste the bitterness and make it healthy. This paratha is one way to a delicious recipe and a healthy one.
                       Methi leaves has lot of health benefits. It helps to reduce bad cholestrol,  reduce the risk of heart disease , controls blood sugar levels in diabetics, aids digestion , reduces menstrual discomfort and many more.Let's  include in our daily diet .

Wheat flour               -  2 cups
Methi leaves             -   1 cup ( washed and finely chopped)
cumin seeds              - 1/2 tsp
turmeric powder       - 1/4 tsp
Rasm powder            - 1 tsp ( can substitute with chilli powder)
Amchur powder        - 1/2 tsp
salt                            - 1 tsp
ginger paste              - 1/4 tsp ( optional)

Mix all these and make into a chapatti dough . While mixing it add 2 tsp oil to it.
Keep it aside for 30 minutes
Now roll like chappati .( you can make a layered chappati too)
Heat a tava and cook it like roti .
Serve hot with butter on top and  accompanied with pickle / raita.
Delicious......Methi Paratha / Methi Chappati is ready
