Roasted Red Pepper Hummus without Tahini


                 Hummus usually goes as a side for tortilla chips. We can use it on a Sandwich or tortilla wrap which turns out so delicious.It is very easy to make .

Chick Peas ( Garbonzo beans)  - 1 cup cooked ( 1 can )
red pepper                                 - 1/4 cup chopped
Green chilli                               - 1 chopped finely
Garlic                                        - 2-3 cloves (from  1 whole)
Sesame seeds                            - 1 tsp
Cumin powder                          - 1 tsp
Pepper Powder                         - 1/2 tsp
Salt
Olive oil                                   - 1 tbsp
Lemon juice of half lemon
1 tbsp oil to roast the red pepper

              Take a pan and heat it . Add the oil to it . When it is hot add sesame seeds , garlic and then  the red pepper and saute it. Add the green chillies  and saute for few more minutes and then remove from the stove. Let it cool.
                In a mixie add the chick peas, red pepper mixture, pepper powder , salt, cumin powder,. Grind it by adding little water, lime juice, olive oil to a smooth creamy paste.
                Now the roasted red pepper Hummus is ready.
