Vegetarian Pasta in Instant Pot

 Pasta...one of favorite among my kids. We can add vegetables of our choice, change the sauce, add some indian curry to it and specialize to our taste if you are not a fan of Pasta Sauce. 

But my Kids love the traditional pasta sauce. Easy to make and kids don't hesitate to finish the lunch. When I can do it in Instant Pot with less time and also in one pot why hassle with cooking pasta separately and increase the work. Now we will go to recipe and master it.๐Ÿ˜€

Pasta - 2 cups ( 8 oz)

Pasta Sauce - 1 1/2 cup

water - 1 1/2 cup

salt to taste

pepper

Garlic powder - 1/2 tsp

Zuchinni - 1 chopped

Carrot - 1 chopped

Bell Pepper - 1  chopped

olive oil - 1 tsp

Italian seasoning - 1 tsp

First plug in the Instant Pot ๐Ÿ˜€

On it and in Sautรฉ mode . Add oil it. Add the vegetables( except Bell Pepper, broccoli, frozen green peas) one after another mixing it.

I sautรฉ these vegetables separately on the stove top( broccoli, bell pepper, peas) as they get mashed. Keep it aside to add it after we release the pressure.

Then add the Italian seasoning, garlic powder, pepper, salt.

Add the Pasta. Mix. Add the sauce , water and mix. Check for salt. And if needed add little more.

(or omit the above steps and just put everything in Instant Pot)

Cancel the Saute mode and change it to Pressure Cook . I selected the vegetable option

Pressure cook in high temperature for 10 minutes.

After done release the pressure after 10 minutes.  We release it so that the Pasta doesn't over cook.

Now open the lid and add the sautรฉ vegetables to it, Mix and serve with chopped olives on top.
