Today's Sandwich: Easy Caprese Delight – Kid's Favorite
Caprese, traditionally prepared with fresh mozzarella, tomatoes, and basil leaves, is a classic Italian combination. This sandwich is perfect for a quick, nutritious meal that kids will love.
Ingredients:
- Bread – Sliced (2 slices for each sandwich)
- Tomatoes – Sliced
- Mozzarella Cheese – Sliced
- Basil Leaves – Fresh
- Red Pesto Sauce
- Olive Oil – For toasting
- Optional: A sprinkle of salt and pepper, balsamic glaze for extra flavor
Instructions:
Prepare the Bread: Take the slices of bread and spread a generous layer of Red Pesto Sauce on one side of each slice.
Assemble the Sandwich:
- On one slice, arrange the sliced tomatoes and fresh basil leaves.
