Today we’re making a classic Tomato Bruschetta, and trust me—this one is as simple as it gets. Fresh, flavorful, and perfect for busy days! I had a can of diced tomatoes already packed with basil, garlic, and oregano, so I used it to save time while still keeping that fresh homemade taste. This shortcut bruschetta comes together in minutes and tastes amazing on crispy toasted bread.
Ingredients
-
Diced tomatoes with garlic, basil, and oregano – 1 can (14.5 oz)
-
Roma tomatoes – 4, finely chopped
-
Olive oil – 2 tbsp
-
Balsamic vinegar – 1 tbsp
-
Italian seasoning – 1 tbsp
-
Salt – to taste
-
Black pepper – to taste
-
Parmesan cheese – ½ cup (a mix of grated and finely grated)
Instructions
-
In a mixing bowl, add the canned diced tomatoes and chopped Roma tomatoes.
-
Drizzle in the olive oil and balsamic vinegar.
-
Sprinkle in Italian seasoning, salt, and black pepper.
-
Add the Parmesan cheese and mix everything well until combined.
-
Let it rest for a few minutes so the flavors come together.
To Serve
-
Toast your bread until golden and crispy (with or without cheese).
-
Spoon the bruschetta mixture generously on top.
-
Serve immediately and enjoy—simple, fresh, and absolutely delicious!
