Parmesan Crisps (Stovetop Method)
Ingredients:
-
Freshly shredded Parmesan cheese (as needed)
Instructions:
-
Prep the Cheese:
Shred Parmesan cheese using a fine grater. Freshly shredded cheese melts and crisps up better than pre-packaged. -
Heat the Pan:
Place a non-stick or cast iron pan on the stove over medium heat. Allow it to warm up for a minute or two. -
Make the Crisps:
Spoon small mounds of shredded cheese onto the hot pan, leaving space between each. Gently spread each mound into a thin circle using the back of a spoon. -
Cook:
Let the cheese melt and bubble. After about 2–3 minutes, the edges will turn golden. Flip carefully and cook for another 1–2 minutes until both sides are crispy. -
Cool and Serve:
Remove the crisps and place them on a paper towel or cooling rack. They will firm up as they cool. Enjoy as is or store in an airtight container for a day or two.
