My Spiced Tea for Two – A Comforting Brew

Everyone has their own way of making the perfect cup of tea—this is mine! Warm, spiced, and soothing, this tea is perfect for cozy conversations or a quiet break. Feel free to improvise with the spices to suit your taste—add more cardamom for a stronger aroma, skip the pepper if you prefer it mild, or sweeten it just the way you like. Here's how I make Tea for Two—a simple ritual that brings comfort with every sip.

Tea for Two – My Way

Ingredients:

  • Milk – 2 cups

  • Water – ¼ cup

  • Tea – 2 teaspoons

  • Cinnamon – 1-inch stick

  • Cloves – 2

  • Cardamom – 1 to 2 pods (crushed if you like a stronger flavor)

  • Ginger – 1-inch piece, crushed

  • Sugar – 2 teaspoons (adjust to taste)

  • Pepper – a pinch (optional)

Instructions:

  1. In a small pan, heat ¼ cup of water.

  2. Add the cinnamon, ginger, cloves, and cardamom. (Adjust the spice level to your liking. For a strong cardamom flavor, add more cardamom& crush the pods before adding.)

  3. Stir in the tea and let the mixture come to a boil.

  4. Pour in the milk and allow it to boil again, mixing gently.

  5. Once it reaches a good rolling boil, turn off the heat.

  6. Strain the tea into two cups.

  7. Stir in sugar to taste.

  8. Enjoy it warm with your favorite cookie or biscuit!

Take a moment to slow down and savor this comforting cup—it’s my go-to way to unwind and reconnect. Let it be yours too, in your own special way. ☕
