Homemade Yogurt in Milk Cooker

How to Make Thick Homemade Yogurt Using Milk Cooker | Easy Curd Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 4 cups milk

  • 1 to 2 tablespoons curd (as starter culture)

Method:

  1. Pour a little water in the whistle hole and cover it of the milk cooker.

  2. Add the milk to the cooker, close the lid, and place it on the stove.

  3. Once the cooker whistles, the milk has boiled perfectly. Turn off the flame.

  4. Allow the milk to cool down until it’s warm (just slightly warm to touch).

  5. Add 1–2 tablespoons of curd starter and mix gently without disturbing the cream layer too much.

  6. Cover the milk and keep it undisturbed in a warm place for 6–8 hours (or overnight).

  7. Once set, refrigerate for a few hours — your smooth and thick homemade yogurt is ready to enjoy! 🥣
