🧾 Ingredients
For the Baked Tofu

Tofu – 1 block

Corn flour – as needed (for coating)

For the Masala

Oil – 3 tsp

Mustard seeds – ½ tsp

Asafoetida (hing) – ¼ tsp

Garlic powder – 1 tsp

Dhaba masala – 1 tsp

Turmeric powder – ¼ tsp

Salt – ½ tsp (adjust as needed)

Tomato sauce – 3 tbsp to ¼ cup

Cajun seasoning – to taste

Curry leaves – a few

Step 1: Prepare the Tofu

Remove the tofu from the package and place it on a plate.

Place another plate on top and weigh it down slightly to press out excess water.

Let it sit for 20 minutes, then drain the released water.

Cut the tofu into bite-sized cubes.
Step 2: Bake the Tofu

In a bowl, toss the tofu cubes with corn flour, salt, dhaba masala, and a little oil until evenly coated.

Arrange the cubes in a single layer on a baking tray.

Bake at 400°F (200°C) for 20 minutes, until lightly crispy.

Remove from the oven and set aside.
Step 3: Make the Masala

Heat oil in a pan over medium heat.

Add mustard seeds and let them splutter.

Add asafoetida and curry leaves.

Add the baked tofu and gently toss.
Step 4: Season and Cook

Add garlic powder, dhaba masala, turmeric, and salt. Mix well.

Add tomato sauce and stir to coat the tofu evenly.
