Makhaniya Biscuits

Ingredients
- White self-rising flour – 1 cup

Pioneer Baking Mix – 3 cups
OR use 2 cups Pioneer Baking Mix + 1 cup whole wheat flour - Cumin seeds – ½ tsp
- Caraway seeds – 1 tbsp
- Salt – No salt needed
- Water – ¾ cup
- Vegetable oil or ghee – ¾ cup
Method
- In a large bowl, add the self-rising flour, baking mix, cumin seeds, and caraway seeds.
- Add the water and vegetable oil or ghee.
- Mix everything together and knead gently to form a soft dough.
- Roll the dough out evenly and use a cookie cutter to cut into your desired shapes.
- Preheat the oven to 355°F.
- Place the biscuits on a baking tray and bake for 25 minutes.
- Reduce the oven temperature to 170°F and continue baking for 60–90 minutes, or until the biscuits become lightly crisp.
- Remove from the oven and let them cool.
